The project was implemented for the Danish company DDD Diagnostics, a renowned radiovisiography supplier.
Within the project for DDD Diagnostics, we designed a device for the radiovisiographic examination of kidneys using a gamma camera. The examination bed is designed to meet the strict medical standards of nuclear medicine and has a load-bearing capacity dimensioned to 800 kg. The thoughtfully designed tipping solution of the upper part of the bed enables very easy access to the actual examination unit and the replaceable collimator.
The design of the lower part of the examination bed enables convenient handling of the gamma camera at the patient’s axis, a wide detection field of the detector, the rotation of the camera in the bearings integrated into the suspension system, and a reliable stabilization of the gamma camera in the screening position. For a convenient application of the radiovisiographic substance to the patient’s vein, the examination set is equipped with removable elbow props.
